‘Til this very day, I remember every moment
That connected us yet also tore us apart.
Every word said and every word meant,
Remains in the abyssal depths of my mind and heart.
The story of two young friends becoming lovers,
Certainly brings a sense of joy and fervency.
But typically, as time passes by, “love” uncovers
All the flaws and mistakes and puts you at sea.
I had my faults and idiocy that brought us to a tempest.
The blazing rows and the bones of contention
Angered us, as our emotions become repressed,
And bringing us to an end but also with some realization.
Now older, we retrospect moments of our experience;
The smiles, heartbreaks, cries, tears, and bliss.
We forgave but we cannot forget the serious
Moments that are surely hard to dismiss.
Moving on is always essential in life.
Thus, You were once out of my mind,
But remained deep in my heart like a knife
Penetrated on a rock, resistant to the wind.
I’ve been with others over the time,
But your presence was always on sight.
I realize there are no others worth a dime,
But only the girl who gives me a sense of light.
I do know that someday we both might find somebody,
As we move on with our separate lives, away
From each other but will always remain lovely and friendly,
Because of the moments we continually share everyday.
I may not exactly know what love really is, but who does?
But if I could describe love, it’s mostly because of you.
You’ve given me so much to remember and felicity, and because
Of that, I know no one will love you as much as I do.
As of now, all I know is that I want to be with you.
I won’t go anywhere or leave, but only if you tell me to.
After all the months and the issues just for that one night, I’m pretty happy to say it was worth the wait. I got to be with my friends and buddies. I spent the night with the most amazing prom date. The only girl that I’ve always wanted to spend this night with. Although I didn’t get to say all the things that I wanted to say, spending the night with her was all I could ask for. I wish I could replay that night over and over again.
no one and nothing will ruin tonight<3. Man, I sincerely hope everyone else’s prom date is as amazing as mine. MY prom date, has been there for me and along side me for four years. Its impossible for my prom date not to make my night. My prom date already has. (:

The one night that I’ve been waiting for. I’m going to be with the most beautiful girl and will spend a great evening with the other seniors.
I finally found a novel that actually relates to me. An author that actually has the same view of this world like I do. I shall read more of Camus’ literary works.
